Centered Chef may have evolved into a culinary studio dedicated to teaching healthy cooking, but we’ve been creating those same foods in our commercial kitchen since the beginning. Our history is deeply rooted in corporate and private catering – where we’ve been thriving since 2005.

As Chicago’s first 100% health-minded catering operation, Centered Chef uses only whole foods in the kitchen, from colorful produce to whole grains to hormone-free meats. Nothing artificial. Nothing processed. Ever.
Our mission is to reinvent the way people view healthy eating. Therefore everything we prepare explores the relationship between how people feel and what they put into their bodies. Our menus are as creative as they are delicious, personifying our clean, simple and sexy style.
We have a variety of catering options to fit our clients’ needs, from casual backyard barbecues to the most refined corporate dining experiences – and everything in between. Our facility allows us to produce plated dinners for up to 200 guests, or strolling buffets and receptions for 400.
