Centered Chef to Host Chicago’s Food Revolution Day May 19th

Attention healthy food patriots and clean eating collaborators!

On Saturday, May 19, Centered Chef has partnered with the Jamie Oliver Foundation to host Chicago’s biggest Food Revolution Day event. As part of this fun and interactive, family-focused event we are debuting a video project designed to educate Chicago on mindful munching.

We are looking for middle schools and NFP youth programs in the Chicago land area to participate in our “Eat Your Veggies” Video Contest! By selecting one team of 5-6 students, ranging from 6-8th grade, to represent your organization, all teams will meet at Centered Chef, on Saturday, May 12th to film a 90 to 120 second video short. The Centered Chef staff will be supporting each team with this creative video project from start to finish, allowing for creativity to flow around the excitement of healthy and delicious recipes. The winning team will receive a 25 person cooking class party here at Centered Chef along with amazing prizes furnished by our partner sponsors!

Aside from this friendly competition, an amazing day of activities will feature local celebrity chefs, a farmer exhibit with animals, fun fitness sessions, and a couple more suprises.  Stay tuned for details on the full day’s agenda coming next week.  Tell your friends and family!

Deadline for the team video contest entries are due by noon on 5/4.  Contact intern@centeredchef.com for details.
